In RUN TO ME, a female super soldier with no memories is forced to rely on someone when she's not sure who she can trust. Cynthia Eden excels at putting the reader and main characters off balance. Like a good magician, Cynthia Eden uses the art of misdirection like a master so that the villain appears to come out of nowhere.

The Lazarus Project and those associated with creating, funding, or running it have damaged a lot of lives. Tech billionaire Jay Maverick harbors some guilt for the part he played in funding it. By providing the financial backing for the Lazarus Project, Jay became an unwitting accomplice to every dark deed that was done. It especially hits home for him now, because the woman who has quickly become the center of his universe was one of Lazarus' victims. Willow has no memories, but she knows she is incredibly attracted to Jay. I like the interesting dynamic of having the heroine stronger physically than the hero. Even though she may not need Jay for physical support, he quickly becomes Willow's rock of emotional support as she is bombarded by confusing half-memories. The mysterious killer and Jay's unstable ex provide an extra dose of excitement to the romance, without obscuring it. As Willow struggles with figuring out her identity and who to trust, she and Jay set the pages aflame with their torrid trysts.

RUN TO ME is perfect for romance fans who like their erotic wow with a side of danger. This book has a hero who is part suave billionaire and part sweet geek. Willow is a strong yet vulnerable heroine who is capable of saving herself and the hero. I am not normally a suspense fan, but I love Cynthia Eden's books because she expertly balances the chills and thrills with the out-of-this- world sexiness. I eagerly await Cynthia Eden's next book.
