Abby is back on the job with her new case involving a serial killer. His victims seem to be college students. Once again Abby is working with Kevin, one of her best friends who is a detective. Along with investigating these murders, Abby is also in the running to be the next District Attorney. Abby's parents have now taken her trust fund money away from her, and she has to rely on her money from the DA's office. Ty feels that it would be better if he moves out for the time being as people are bringing up his criminal record from when he was younger.

Abby is trying the case of the murder of these women. Could whoever is committing these murders be someone that Abby knows? Abby knows that this is the biggest case of her life. Can she get justice or the murder victims?

Once again, Pamela Wechsler doesn't fail me. THE GRAVES was great I know how Pamela can write such great books. Pamela was a criminal prosecutor and a consultant writer for some of my favorite shows. Since I had read her previous book MISSION HILL, I did know a lot of the background. But if you haven't read it, no big deal, Pamela does fill you in.

I also liked all the secondary characters; there is Cassandra who was also trying to become the next District Attorney and will do whatever she has to get the job. In THE GRAVES, you have mystery, back stabbing and the hint of an affair between Abby and Kevin. Could it happen?

Hopefully, there will be many more books to be released that involve Abby. Did Abby become the next DA? Would Abby's family ever accept her job choice? Would she and Ty stay together? All these questions and many more need to be answered.
