MANGO DELIGHT is the first novel by Fracaswell Hyman, well-known for his award-winning work in television. From the first page, you are pulled right in Mango's world and you get a real charge out of how she thinks, reacts and deals with all the ups and downs she faces. The storyline develops very quickly and you are sure to be captivated by what happens. It is a great read, full of humour and interesting twists in friendship while touching on topics, such as bullying, peer pressure, disabilities and diversity.

Hyman's novel reinforces many positive values, such as love for family, friendship, resiliency and a "can do" attitude but not in a teachy way as she doesn't always make the smartest choices. The action is fast paced, and you will love how Mango delights in tasting her food favourites, loves track, music and drama.
