Just when you might have thought all Jane and Aidan would have to worry about was their changing biology, they are epically proved wrong. This final installment of Cynthia Eden's "Blood and Moonlight" series blurs the lines between vampire and werewolf and features a master tactician villain whose identity remains hidden until the very end. I love Cynthia Eden's habit of hiding the bad guy's identity from both the reader and the main characters, and thus increasing the suspense to an earth-shattering degree.

Whether or not they really are strongest together, who is trying to divide them and why, are all central questions in BITTER BLOOD. Jane and Aidan have so many different obstacles to deal with in BITTER BLOOD. What I love most is their rock solid faith in each other even when their world is turned upside down. The intense eroticism in BITTER BLOOD is, for me, very much connected to the concept of trust and specifically how much Jane and Aidan trust each other. When Jane's blood starts affecting Aidan in dangerous and unexpected ways, it's only Jane who is able to reach into his soul and connect with the man she loves, and pull him back from the edge. This vampire-werewolf love story is epic, delicious, and I can't get enough.

BITTER BLOOD is a riveting story about the power of love battling evil intentions. The threats to Aidan and Jane are many - including her crazy brother, a super villain intent on world domination, and the struggle to prove that an alpha werewolf's force of will is stronger than biology. This "Blood and Moonlight" series is a must-read for paranormal romance fans, and those who love a little suspense and excitement thrown in the mix. I can't wait to see what Cynthia Eden comes up with next to delight fans!
