As Lori Foster explores this blooming romance, readers get a dose of sweetness from Merissa and the downright dirty from Armie. I really love both of these characters together. They were playful and hot, surprising me with their intensity from the very first page. Foster does a great job of creating tension between them, building it until it reaches its boiling point.

I also love the involvement of Cannon on this one, who is Merissa's older brother. As some of the previous couples from the series and some cameos from Foster's other series pop in here and there, you definitely get a sense of community from the group.

While I had Armie pretty much figured out early on in the book, Merissa surprised me. At first she came across as uncertain, maybe a little hurt that Armie had rejected her, but she definitely delivered when it was time. I love her sass and her spirit, and I think she is the light this book needed. I am very pleased with how her character came out.

FIGHTING DIRTY is my favorite of the series. Expertly blending the sweet and the sinful in an intoxicating mix, Lori Foster will no doubt get readers drunk on her hotter than hell fighters.
