During this road trip there will be several challenges that each truck will have to complete. Zoe and her group start out with high hopes. However, while the trip is going well, there is a murder after each challenge. Of course, for some reason Zoe seems to be the prime suspect. Can Zoe and her group come though these challenges without losing someone?
FRY ANOTHER DAY is the third book I have read on this series. J. J. Cook combines mystery, murder and comedy. This is one of the main things I love about his books. Who would have thought that this much excitement could happen with a food truck.
J. J. Cooks has great insight in how a food truck deals with a lot of problems. The other item I like about this book is at the end there are the recipes that are created in the food truck. As someone who loves to try new recipes I really appreciate this. Can't wait for the next adventure that Zoe and her crew will under take.
Book Summary
From the national bestselling author of the Sweet Pepper Fire Brigade Mysteries comes the second in a new series featuring Zoe Chase, a Southern food truck chef who serves justice on the side. With a few loyal friends in tow—including her handsome attorney, Miguel, and her cat, Crème Brûlée—Zoe drives the Biscuit Bowl to Charlotte, North Carolina, to enter a nationally televised food truck race. The contest features challenges across the Southeast, and with a fifty-thousand-dollar grand prize, competition isn’t just fierce—it’s killer. As everyone gears up for the first challenge, another food trucker from Zoe’s hometown is found dead. The race rolls on, but when the body count rises, police begin to suspect Miguel. Now Zoe must race to catch the killer before her attorney needs an attorney.
