Annie McKay is running for her life when she ends up at a run down trailer park where she is seeking someplace safe. She has no idea how answering someone's cellphone will change her life. The stranger on the other end of that call awakens feelings that Annie has never felt before.

When Dylan Daniels hears Annie's voice he is drawn to her and engages her in a very provocative phone sex experience where they both have fulfilled desires. Talking to Dylan makes Annie feel safe and desired, and she does things she has never done before and loves it. These two are lonely for different reasons but are drawn to each other by awakened feelings.

Dylan and Annie both have secrets that can remain secrets as long as they keep communicating by phone. Once they meet face to face they can no longer keep those secrets. When Dylan learns the circumstances of Annie's secret he wants to do everything he can to help her. Once Annie finally sees Dylan it becomes obvious what his secret is. But she also learns that there are more secrets to be revealed. Even though Dylan wants to solve her problems, Annie is determined to take care of herself for once.

Ms. O'Keefe did a great job in writing this story and it leaves you on pins and needles waiting for the outcome in the next book. Great story!
