Iris Tatum could hardly wait to turn eighteen so that she could finally marry her high school sweetheart, Callum Stewart. With no one to care for the triplets during his stay in the hospital, Iris volunteers to care for Brandt, Tyler and Levi at her farm. With Callum's recovery, Iris and Callum are both revisiting the past where the secrets are reluctant to reveal themselves. Iris is devastated that her father would deliberately try to frame Callum with charges of reckless driving to get him out of town. It's up to Iris to prove him innocent along with her hope of resurrecting what they once had.

Lacy Williams is a new author for me, but has definitely left an impression. The story of a young man from the wrong side of the tracks who has desperately loved a woman since high school and out of his reach, is a wonderful story. SECONDHAND COWBOY kept my interest and my fingers turning the pages one after the other and I was reluctant to put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed the mixture of emotion, lost love and especially the ornery little triplets that made this story what it is. Kudos to Lacy Williams a talented author. I hope to read more of her work in the near future.
