Marley decides it is time to change her life. First drop the ex, next find a new job, and last of all only date men who do not have money. This will be easier said than done. Before she starts her new job, she stops at the local pet shelter and falls in love with Magoo, a dog that might be on the short list and needs saving fast. Marley also meets Will and his sister Bethany. Marley likes Bethany and thinks Will is just a worker at the shelter.

Marley takes a job with Cascade Historical Society. Her main job is to be a fund raiser. One of the main projects is to get money to help with the local historical society. What a shock when she is introduced to one of the board members. William Barclay the fifth. Marley was interested in him when she first met him, but not any more, as she only wants men with no income.

As much as Marley and Will know that it is against the rules of the Society to date, they realize that there is FRISKY BUSINESS between them.

Tawna Fenske's book is very entertaining. I am sure that there are women out there who have had enough of a certain type of man. I can see myself in FRISKY BUSINESS. Other things that are pretty funny in this book is that Will is losing his wife to his sister. Who would have ever thought of this? Only Tawna Fenske could find the humor in this situation.

FRISKY BUSINESS is a very good book, another one that I would like to see what becomes of all the characters in this book. It's a great book to read on any day. From start to finish I loved it.

Book Summary

She's looking for something bigger than his bank account...

No more rich men for Marley Cartman. Absolutely not. Thanks to her dad, her ex-fiancé, and the overbearing donors she schmoozes for a living, she’s had more than her fill. From now on, she wants blue-collar men with dirt under their fingernails. But when Marley makes a break to handle donor relations for a wildlife sanctuary, she finds herself drawn to the annoyingly charming—and disturbingly wealthy—chairman of the board. Judging by his hipster T-shirts, motley assortment of canine companions, and penchant for shaking up stuffy board meetings, you’d never guess that William Barclay the Fifth is a brilliantly successful businessman. Will has good reason to be leery of scheming women, and as he and Marley butt heads over the wisdom of bringing grumpy badgers to charity events, he can’t help but wonder if his new donor relations coordinator is hiding something other than a perfect figure beneath that designer suit…
