Raven Smith, the straight-talking tattoo artist who has woven her way through the Lauren Dane's Brown Family saga, is someone the other characters either love or distrust. She lives her life honestly and by her own rules, something not everyone understands. Raven is loyal to those she loves but never promises monogamy to the men and woman who pass through her life. Raven is a polarizing character who has caused her share of problems so I was excited to see how Ms. Dane managed to be true to what we know about Raven and yet make her a heroine readers can enjoy and relate to. I am pleased to report that the excellent story told in DRAWN TOGETHER fits Raven perfectly. Raven is who I expected her to be and so much more. It was a joy to watch how the love of her friends and Jonah Warner brings her healing and peace.

Jonah Warner is looking for a tattoo artist and seeks out Raven Smith. She is beautiful and extremely talented; the attraction that flares between them is instantaneous. Before long, they are having hot sex and Jonah knows that whatever he has with Raven, it's not casual. He wants Raven and he wants Raven to want only him. Can Jonah convince Raven that he's the one man with whom she can and should commit?

DRAWN TOGETHER is a compelling story of a transformation that doesn't sacrifice Raven's unique appeal. Raven's backstory is as complex and heartbreaking as fans might expect but at no point does Raven seem weak or less than who we know her to be. Raven's strength is evident throughout the story, particularly during those moments where she has to find the courage to trust others to love and support her. Jonah is the perfect man for her, patient and understanding while challenging her to be more than she thinks she can be. All the other characters we've come to love (Browns, Copelands, Keenans, Warners, and Delicious) weave in and out of the story to remind us and Raven how amazing she is.

I loved every word of DRAWN TOGETHER and have already re-read it multiple times. While the story works as a stand-alone, don't miss out on the earlier books in this exceptional series.
