Posted: May 26, 2013

Jack Gannon has returned to Apple Grove to take over his father's family practice and recover from the physical and emotional injuries incurred during his time as a medical corpsman in the Navy, seven years before. He is just barely getting settled when a fuzzy black pup and a long-geared strawberry blonde turn his life end over end.

Caitlin Mulcahy has a lot on her plate doing her part to keep the family handyman business flourishing while her sister and partner, Meg is pregnant. It has meant squeezing her beloved woodworking into a few hours a day while she fulfills her duty to the family. Now that she's gotten to know Doc Gannon the younger a bit better, she's committed to squeezing a bit of romance in alongside all her commitments.

Sweet and passionate, poignant and rich C. H. Admirand has written another stellar love tale set in small town America. The antics of rescued puppy Jameson provides loads of fun, too as two long-time acquaintances discover something deeper blooming an the Apple Grove spring.

ONE DAY IN APPLE GROVE is one of those books that snuggles you in among the townsfolk and gives you a refreshing break from reality. As someone born in a small town who has lived in the city for decades it gave me a wonderful surcease from the hectic pace and crowded feeling of urban life. It is book two in theSmall Town USA series. Book three, Welcome Back to Apple Grove is set to be published in December, 2013.

Book Summary

Caitlin Mulcahy loves her family. She really does. Cait just needs to get away, even if for only an hour.

When she sees someone in need of help on the side of the road, of course she's going to pull over. She might even be able to fix his engine—after all, the Mulcahy family is a handy bunch. She's not expecting that former Marine Dr. Jack Gannon and a little black puppy named Jameson will be the ones who end up rescuing her...
