This is an inspirational story about finding and accepting love. The dialogue is affectionate and witty, and THE COWBOY'S CONVENIENT PROPOSAL has some great twists, which keeps the book's adventures exciting. This story has some tender moments between two likable characters. Ward is easy to like, and Red grows and becomes a well-rounded character. The setting, though not unique, is enjoyable, and anyone who likes the Wild West will appreciate it. The real joy in this story is Belle. She is a spunky, talkative eight - year - old, who so easily overcomes her past to become a dreamer, and a kind hearted little girl. A heartwarming happy ending wraps this book up nicely. Linda Ford has written a sweet inspirational story worthy of reading.
