The fact that the love interests do not immediately like each other but they team up bound by honor to deal with the difficult situation. The deal soon turns into so much more. Although Carling appears to be a little weak in the beginning, her strength is revealed through the story. Rune was a perfect hero, charismatic, handsome, protective, and strong. The reader will love the scenes where he so obviously goes after what he desires.
