Luke Hunter, aka Stan Bradley, a hunk of a plumber extraordinaire who's also employed by the FBI, has captured Kathy's undivided attention. However, a tragic childhood incident has caused Kathy to be opposed to all cops.

After appearing at "Stan's" door, Kathy gets caught up in a race to evade a drug lord's muscle, who's trying to stop Luke from testify against him. With 48 hours of hot pursuit and even hotter, scorching sex, Kathy and Luke dodge death as they fall hopelessly in love. But there are surprises along the way that create some problems.

DIVORCED, DESPERATE AND DECEIVED is a very stimulating, action-packed story. Kathy's character is funny and interesting. Luke is the hunk of a man every woman dreams of; sweet but strong and masculine with a fierce need to protect. Did I forget to mention handsome, as well? I found this an easy book to read as it kept the interest alive. Christie Craig is gifted with words and the ability to entertain the reader.
