Aurora Jacquard's parents always treat her like fine china, capable of breaking at a moment's notice. For most of her life, she finds ways to go against their rules, but they seem to keep the upper hand most of the time. She is finally getting the opportunity to plan a romantic get-a- way to experience what all of her friends spend hours talking about -- sex. Aurora has chosen the perfect setting to seduce the man of her choice, but something goes wrong and she feels like she's stuck in another world.

Jacob White loves a challenge and being a neurologist allows him, on occasion, to find a difficult case to solve. The Sleeping Beauty case is too interesting to turn away and his arrogance gives him the confidence to convince her parents that he will succeed where his colleagues have failed. After a few weeks of studying the case files, Jacob begins to dream about the beautiful woman he's determined to help; which also happens to be the same time she begins to experience the first changes in her condition.

Cathy Yardley has a very interesting take on the everyday fairy tale. I love the modern twists and the ancient evil she weaves into RAVISH. Very well done!
